Am I eligible to enroll? You must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Pennsylvania and be a U.S. citizen, national, or qualified non-citizen (lawfully present)
- Uninsured, losing other insurance, or your job-based coverage is not affordable
- Can NOT be enrolled in Medicare
Financial assistance eligibility depends on income, with options for low-income individuals to enroll year-round
When can I sign up? You are eligible to sign up under 2 different circumstances:
1) Open Enrollment: Typically runs from November 1 to January 15 each year.
2) Special Enrollment Period: Available outside of open enrollment if you experience a life event like marriage, birth, or loss of other coverage.
*Those with annual household income at or below 150% of the federal poverty level may qualify for a special enrollment period to sign up at any time*
